When attached to the end of your separately available AeroPress, it seals off the end which allows you to store beans or filters in it. Constructed from lightweight food-safe elastomer, it has small ridges along it to make it easier to grip when you’re pressing down on the plunger, and it provides a non-slip surface for making coffee by the inverted method.
