Alleviate anxiety knowing you can use the Gen4 device from SPOT to communicate with emergency services, friends and family when you’re off the beaten path and outside of mobile coverage.

The SOS feature enables the GEOS International Emergency Response Coordination Center to detect your GPS coordinates and give the information to local response teams at the push of a button. The Gen4 also allows you to set up a vibration sensor that sends tracking updates when you stop and when you’re on the move. Check-in with up to 10 of your nearest and dearest by pre-programming an email or text with your GPS coordinates, and use the custom-message function to send a secondary ‘OK’ message. Plus, there’s a Help/S.O.V. function that alerts your personal contacts, informing them if you need some assistance in non-threatening situations.
